MISS LATINA US
The Miss Florida Latina and Miss Teen Florida Latina Pageant is a beauty contest and scholarship program dedicated to showcasing the beauty and talents of young women of Hispanic ancestry between the ages of 14 to 17 for the Teen Division and 18 to 27 for the Miss division, living in the State of Florida. Our objective is to instill cultural pride, self esteem and leadership qualities among these young women. This pageant provides an opportunity for Latinas to advance in their careers and personal goals by learning of their heritage, developing self esteem and networking.
The MISS FLORIDA LATINA and MISS TEEN FLORIDA LATINA competitions air as specials on the Miss Florida Latina Channel,
as well as on other networks. These competitions rank among the most-watched locally produced programming in the state. Previous to the MISS FLORIDA LATINA, Giabella Inc., has been producing pageants since 1997 in New York; San Juan, Puerto Rico and Milan, Italy. Our sister company Giabella Salon has been coaching and developing beauty pageant contestants
for more than 25 years.
Several of our winners have used the pageant to springboard their careers.
Our alumni have achieved success in law, medicine, education, private business, public service,
entertainment and so much more. MISS FLORIDA LATINA broadcasts showcase the host city and individuals or corporations
who sponsor the pageant. Since 1983 the pageants have taken place in: Miami, Florida and other exciting locations.
This past year’s pageant was located in The City of Orlando.
Our Miss and Teen winners go on to represent the state of Florida in the National Competitions, where they will have the opportunity of a lifetime and receive national television and media exposure. Throughout their year, the Miss & Teen Florida Titleholders will have the opportunity to travel throughout the state making appearances at various events.
